Connecting children with the love of Christ, deepening their knowledge of God, and teaching them to serve others in the name of Christ.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Families will find opportunities for children of all ages to learn, grow, and worship on Sunday mornings at Lake Highlands UMC. Classes and childcare are offered at various times and locations throughout the morning to best meet the needs of each age group. Children are always welcome in worship services, and activity materials are available to help them engage. Childcare is also provided for children five and under during all Sunday morning activities.

Childcare 8:15 to 9:15 a.m.

5 years and under (C107)

Infant & Preschool Sunday School 9:15 to 10:30 a.m.

4 months – 2 years (C107)

3s & 4s (C101)

Elementary Sunday School 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

Drop off in the Fellowship Hall and pick up in classrooms.

Kinder – 2nd Grade (F101)

3rd – 5th (Y105 Basement)

Youth Sunday School 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

7th – 12th Grade (Basement)

Childcare 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

4 months – 2 years (C107)

3 – 5 years (C101)

Room assignments are based on your child’s age as of September 1, 2025.

ACTIVATE: FAITH & MUSIC

Hit start on a stellar week with an afternoon of faith, music, and friends. All children kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join us Sundays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for Activate: Faith & Music. Click here to learn more about Activate and to sign up.

CAMPS AT LHUMC

We offer a variety of fun, faith-filled camps during school holidays and throughout the summer for children of all ages. Whether your child loves music, sports, creativity, or simply spending time with friends, there’s something for every age and stage. Our camps are hosted by LHUMC and trusted partner organizations and are designed to help kids grow, connect, and have a great time in a safe, welcoming environment. ACOLYTES

Third through fifth graders are invited to serve as acolytes in our 11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship service. By lighting the altar candles and carrying the flame at the close of worship, they help lead our congregation in a powerful symbol of Christ’s light.
