SEVEN LAST WORDS: THE FINAL WORDS OF JESUS FROM THE CROSS
A Sermon Series & Group Study throughout Lent

This Lent, we will reflect on the final words Jesus spoke from the cross and what they reveal about faith, forgiveness, and hope. The series begins on Ash Wednesday and continues each Sunday throughout Lent at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Our Sunday groups will also engage in a companion study as we journey through the season together.

HOLY COMMUNION & CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER
Wednesdays, Feb 25-April 1 | 6:30 p.m. | Chapel

Join us for a quiet, reflective midweek service throughout Lent featuring Holy Communion, Scripture, and contemplative prayer. This weekly gathering offers space to slow down and reconnect with God in the midst of the season.

The Chapel will also be set with the Stations of the Cross, a series of guided reflections on the final hours of Jesus’ life. You are invited to move through the stations at your own pace, pausing to pray and reflect. All are welcome to come as you are and join us for this time of peace and renewal.

CREATION STORIES IN THE BIBLE
Wednesdays, Feb 25-April 1 | 7 to 8 p.m. | Room A117

You’re invited to a weekly study exploring the many creation stories found throughout the Old and New Testaments. Together, we’ll look beyond Genesis to see how Scripture returns again and again to the theme of God bringing life out of chaos and hope out of brokenness. All are welcome to join the conversation.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY DAY TRIP TO HOMESTEAD HERITAGE
Saturday, March 7 | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All women are invited to spend a Saturday in Waco exploring Homestead Heritage. We’ll depart from LHUMC at 10 a.m., enjoy lunch at Café Homestead, and spend the afternoon browsing artisan shops and handcrafted goods. The group will return to the church by 5 p.m. Please bring money for lunch and optional shopping.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP FUNDRAISER LUNCH & SILENT AUCTION
Sunday, March 8 | 12 to 1:30 p.m. | Great Hall

Join us after church for lunch, a silent auction, and a talent show hosted by our youth group to support their summer mission trip to Ecuador.
