THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

This Thanksgiving, Seeds of Support is collecting dinner essentials to help local families enjoy a warm, comforting holiday meal.
Requested foods include cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, canned gravy, mac and cheese, cornbread, canned corn, white rice, stuffing, canned yams, and green beans.

FAMILY MINISTRY PANCAKE BREAKFAST

LHUMC families, kick off the holiday season with pancakes and fellowship! We’ll share ways to create simple, meaningful Advent moments for your family as we enter the season of joyful anticipation.
Please Note: No kids’ Sunday School this day. Childcare for ages 6 months to 5 years will be available during the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services.

FEED LAKE HIGHLANDS ANGEL TREE

Help make Christmas brighter for children and families right here in Lake Highlands.

Grab an angel from the tree in the narthex starting Sunday, Nov 16, and return wrapped gifts by Dec 7.
Each angel includes a wish list item or need for a child (and sometimes a small treat for parents, too!). You can also pick up a gingerbread man ornament representing a food item Feed Lake Highlands needs for their pantry, a great way to give even more this season.
Thank you for partnering with Feed Lake Highlands and LHUMC to share the love of Christ this Christmas.​
