ACTIVATE:
FAITH & MUSIC
Flip the switch on music, faith, and friends!
Activate is a Sunday afternoon gathering at Lake Highlands UMC for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Each week, kids are invited into a fun, welcoming space centered on faith, music, and friendship. Through children’s choir, Bible stories, prayer, and play, Activate helps kids grow in their faith while building confidence and community.

What to Expect

Activate meets on Sundays January 25th through May 3rd from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. All children will be dropped off and picked up in the Parlor (entrance B).

Each semester, Activate participants will have opportunities to share what they’ve learned with the wider church community in worship services and special performances, including a musical in May.
No prior music experience is needed—just come ready to participate and have fun.

Activate 345 (Grades 3–5)
For older elementary kids, Activate 345 is an extra gathering once a month after regular Activate—just for 3rd through 5th graders. Activate 345 meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on January 25, February 22, March 22, April 26, and May 24. This time offers deeper connection, faith conversations, and fun with peers.

All-Church Family Supper Nights

Families are invited to join us after Activate on February 1, March 1, and April 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for an all-church family supper. These casual, welcoming meals are a great way to connect with other families and enjoy time together at church. More information and a sign up link coming soon!
