ADVENT 2026 AT LHUMC

Prepare Your Heart. Make Room for Joy.

LHUMC Background.png

Advent is a season of waiting, watching, and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. This year, we invite you to experience the hope, peace, joy, and love of the season through worship, music, fellowship, and traditions shared with our church and Lake Highlands community. Whether you've been part of LHUMC for years or are joining us for the first time, there's a place for you this Christmas.

ADVENT WORSHIP: PREPARE

Sundays, November 29–December 20 | 8:30 & 11 a.m. | Sanctuary

Advent invites us to slow down, pay attention, and prepare for the coming of Christ. Throughout this four-week sermon series, we'll explore what it means to watch, repent, witness, and surrender as we make room for Jesus in our lives.

  • November 29 | Watch (Mark 13:24–37)

  • December 6 | Repent

  • December 13 | Witness (John 1:6–8, 19–28)

  • December 20 | Surrender (Luke 1:26–38)

Our season of preparation culminates on Christmas Eve as we rejoice in the birth of Christ.
