Worship at LHUMC

Here at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church we offer two worship gatherings. Our services are held in the sanctuary at 8:30AM and 11AM.

TRADITIONAL WORSHIP at 8:30am

This service features: traditional hymns, a pastoral prayer, a relevant Biblical message, liturgy, and the weekly observance of Holy Communion at the open table of Jesus.  The goal of this service is to draw you closer to Christ and to help you become more like Jesus so you can serve like Jesus.

We encourage families to worship together. However, child care is available for all children under the age of 5. Also, we have an Infant Care room available, if needed.

 

WORSHIP at 11am

This service features both contemporary and traditional elements.  You will be able to sing praise choruses and hymns. There are multiple musical ensembles that often lead including a bell choir, a chancel choir, a contemporary praise team, and our children’s choir. The children’s message will captivate your children.  The message is always relevant and Biblical.  Holy Communion is served weekly at the open table of Jesus.  The goal of this service is to draw you closer to Christ and to help you become more like Jesus so you can serve like Jesus.
