Worship Times

Here at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church we offer three distinct worship gatherings. Our early-morning traditional service is held in the sanctuary at 8:30 AM and offers an intimate time of hymn singing, a challenging and relevant homily, and an opportunity for all to share in the sacrament of holy communion.

Our traditional worship service takes place in the main sanctuary at 11:00 AM and offers a powerful, liturgical approach to worship through beautifully sung hymnody with organ and piano accompaniment, a pointedly engaging sermon, and a weekly celebration of the Lord’s table.

Finally, our “Relate” contemporary service takes place concurrently with the traditional service at 11:00 AM, but is held in the Great Hall. This service engages the worshipping community with a lively selection of contemporary worship choruses performed by a five-piece band, and three-person vocal ensemble, and is enhanced by the accoutrements of a modern stage production. Further, one should expect a compelling sermon delivered in a culturally relevant voice, and the opportunity to share the communion table weekly.
