FUNERALS
& MEMORIAL SERVICES

Planning a service after the loss of a loved one can feel overwhelming. Lake Highlands United Methodist Church is here to support you with compassion, clarity, and care during this difficult time.
Our clergy are available to offer pastoral guidance and to lead several types of services, depending on your needs and timing:

-
Funeral Service: Typically held within days of a death, with a closed casket or urn present
-
Memorial Service: A service of remembrance held at a later date, without remains present
-
Committal Service: A brief service at the cemetery, which may follow a funeral or be held separately

Each service is planned with the family to honor the life of the one who has died, acknowledge grief honestly, and proclaim the hope and comfort found in God’s promises.
In addition to these services, our church offers GriefShare, a supportive ministry for those navigating loss, providing space for healing, connection, and encouragement.
For more information, pastoral care, or to schedule a service, please contact Rev. Andy Roberts, Senior Pastor, at andyr@lhumc.com.
