Mothers of Preschoolers

Who:

If you are a mother of a preschooler (birth-start of kindergarten)

What:

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a ministry of Lake Highlands UMC, and is part of an international organization (www.mops.org). The goal of MOPS is to provide a place for moms to come together to rest, have fellowship with one another, learn and grow both personally and spiritually, and for their children to also have a safe environment to play and learn about the love of Jesus. Meetings include time for fellowship and brunch, listening to a speaker on relevant topics such as child-rearing, marriage, spirituality, and personal growth, and small group discussion time. This group also gathers outside of meeting times for bi-monthly playdates, and monthly Moms Nights Out!

When:

We meet approximately twice per month (see meeting dates below) on Friday mornings from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM with drop-off for childcare starting at 9:15 AM during the school year (September-April).

Dues

Dues will be collected in August for the Fall semester, and December for the Spring semester.

Mom fee: $100 per semester

Childcare cost: $35 per child per semester

Ex. Mom + 2 kids in childcare = $170/semester; Mom with no kids in childcare= $100/semester

Please follow instructions HERE to register and hold your spot. We will send emails confirming registration (and that you have a spot) by the end of May. We will also inform those who get put on a waitlist if necessary.

Moppets (childcare) check-in will begin at 9:15 AM on MOPS meeting days.. Meetings will end at 11:45 AM, and children must be picked up by noon.
