Many individuals in our diverse community are hungry. Of the children enrolled in Lake Highlands schools, 63% participate in the free and reduced lunch program. Hunger is a community problem, and it requires a
community solution.
Through Feed Lake Highlands, we distribute nutritional food for supplemental meals to residents deemed to be food-insecure. In partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, we have expanded to serve nearly 300 people
per month.
Wednesday 3:30 – 7:30 PM – Feed Lake Highlands Food Pick-up (1st and 3rd Wednesday / Pre-enrollment required)
