Big Picture
We are going to Camp Grady Spruce at beautiful Lake Possum Kingdom.
The program will be led by a pastor and evangelist from the Northern Georgia Conference. He is Tom Atkins, and he will be leading a modified version of his signature program, Wild at Heart (no relation to the book of the same name). Our theme for the weekend is "Spring Training", using the sporting imagery from 1 Corinthians 9:25:
"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." (NIV)
The Details
The retreat starts officially Friday night with dinner at 6:00pm, but we will be organizing some activities for earlier in the day for those that can get away part or all of Friday.
Meals are included in the cost of the retreat which is $115.00. Scholarships are available.
We will be finishing up on Sunday morning about 9:45.
Registration forms are all over the church. We will have someone taking them after each service in April and the first week in May.
You can also drop off registration forms at the church office or you can even mail them in.
As far as everything else, we have plenty of free time Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon before dinner.

- Meals are provided but feel free to bring snacks for in between.
- Twin sheets or a sleeping bag and a pillow.
- Each air conditioned cabin has bathrooms and a kitchenette.
- Your Bible.
There will be multiple departure times from Friday morning through Saturday morning depending on your schedule.
Once we have all registrations in we will contact all attendees and organize the rides.
