Worship Starting Sunday, April 15th!
The Contemporary Worship service at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church will soon be fronted by a new, but not completely unfamiliar, face. Eric Michael Czechowski is well-known by many of LHUMCs high school and recently-graduated youth for leading music and worship at past youth retreats and Sunday Youth Fellowship. A 2004 graduate of Plano Senior High, Eric attended Southern Methodist University, graduating in 2008 with a Music Education degree.
Rather than moving immediately into a teaching role, Eric made the bold decision to cut his teeth in the Nashville, Tennessee music scene after he was referred to an internship opportunity working for multi Emmy Award winning composer and songwriter Brian D. Siewert. Eric Michael, going by his recording name, released his first album, The Beginnings , in 2009. Most recently, January 23rd, he joined Jars of Clay and Josh Wilson in a worship concert at First United Methodist Church in Richardson.
Newly married this past December to Valerie, Eric is returning to his Texas roots and looks forward to joining the LHUMC ministry team. We are truly blessed to welcome Eric Michael Czechkowski to LHUMC!
