What about my kids?
You will find a safe and fun place for your children and teens. Most of the children and youth that attend LHUMC live right here in the Lake Highlands community, and your children will most likely be surprised when they are welcomed by friends they know from school.
Children are welcome in all services. Families visiting LHUMC should park in the McCree Road parking lot and enter at the doors marked by the sign "Welcome Center". There will be greeters and signs to guide you to where to take your children depending on their age.
Children's Ministry - Sunday Morning
9:30 - 10:30 am
2 year olds thru 4th grade - Children's Sunday School
5th-6th Grade - Route 56 Sunday School
10:30 am - Noon
2 year olds thru Kindergarten - Children's Sunday School
1st thru 6th grades attend Fellowship Time and Traditional or
Contemporary Worship with their parents.
1st-6th graders all start out in Fellowship Hall - then 1st and 2nd graders split out to their own class and should be picked up at C103.
Youth Ministry
Sunday Morning, 9:15 - 10:30 am
Donuts at 9:15 am - large group begins at 9:30 am
Sunday Evening, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Youth Fellowship in the Youth Center (located in the lowest level under the Sanctuary)
